I have been looking at options from amsterdam to berlin:
> fly - transavia.com has direct flights (1hr 15min) for AUD$148/USD$129; vs
> train - raileurope.com (6hrs 20mins) for AUD$212/USD$185
> night trains - citynightline.ch (search 'english' to change the language) (9hrs 20mins) for AUD$64/USD$56 (but nearly $200 if you want somewhere to sleep) and you arrive at 4.20am which is pretty bullsh^t

all in all i think im going to fly, despite the time wasting it brings it could actually be the cheapest and quickest option

Hey I would like to know, if I'm considering a night train/ bus from Amsterdam to Berlin, which would you recommend? I know I would have to compromise with comfort on the bus. Is there any way yo see the city from the train at night?
