There are direct trains from Amsterdam and Antwerp (Antwerpen Centraal). You can see the timetables on the SNCB website, but you cannot purchase the tickets from there. Trains depart Amsterdam Centraal daily, every hour. The travel time is 2h 7 min.
But you can check the schedules and book the tickets via HiSpeed , which links the Thalys (Eurostar trains ) and the IC trains between Amsterdam Centraal and Antwerpen Centraal. A single adult ticket costs from €91 and the travel time is between 1h 12 min (on Thalys) and 2h 12 min (on IC trains).

Buses from Amsterdam to Antwerp
Eurolines offers direct buses between Amsterdam and Antwerp . There are up to 7 departures daily; the first bus leaves Amsterdam at 8:30 a.m. and the last one at 7 p.m. The travel time is 3h 45 min and the single adult ticket costs €18.
Should you need to travel from Antwerp to Amsterdam, the first bus leaves at 7:15 a.m. and the last one at 7 p.m. If you buy a return ticket, it would cost €25 per person.
Driving from Amsterdam to Antwerp
Another option is to rent a car and drive the 160 km between Amsterdam and Antwerp. It should take about 1h 45 min and you’ll drive on A2 and A27, which are not toll roads.
