I just came back from a holiday in Amsterdam. I had the best time there... saw everything The Dam, Anne Frank's house, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Red Light District, Leidse Plein. And ate at this thing called FEBO, where you can get food out of a wall ;). But the thing that caught my eyes was the House of Bols Cocktail and Genever Experience. Right across the Van Gogh museum. You wil step into the world of the cocktail and will experience the rich Dutch Heritage. at the end of the road you'll get a free cocktail. It's really worth your euros. After that you can visit a small China town near the Red Light District. I love Amsterdam it's a really cool city to go to.
